Tanika Andoh, LMHCA (she/her)

Tanika Andoh is a former teacher, National Board Certified school counselor, and licensed mental health counselor providing telehealth services throughout Washington.

She is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion and practical support. She approaches therapy with warmth, authenticity, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental perspective, creating a space where clients feel safe to be themselves. She believes therapy works best when it's built on genuine connection, collaboration, and a little bit of humor along the way.

Tanika is especially passionate about helping clients strengthen their self-esteem, recognize their unique strengths, and build the confidence to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience. Whether a client is feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support through a difficult season, she strives to meet them where they are and tailor therapy to their individual needs and goals.

Drawing from her experience in both education and mental health, Tanika understands the unique challenges that children, families, and educators face. She has firsthand experience with the demands of the education system and prioritizes supporting burned-out educators who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or struggle to find balance while caring for others. Her experience also includes supporting students and families through academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. She believes meaningful growth happens when clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools they can use beyond the therapy room.

When she's not working, Tanika enjoys gardening, reading, exploring new cities, sewing, spending time in nature, and binge watching true crime shows. She believes that finding moments of joy, curiosity, and connection outside of work is an important part of overall well-being and loves helping clients discover what brings those same feelings into their own lives.
