Robin Hamman MA, LMFTA (she/her)
I work with adults, families, older children, and teens, prioritizing genuine connection over compliance. I have experience and training in neurodivergent-affirming care including late and self diagnosed ADHD, Autism, learning differences, sensory differences, and twice exceptional or 2E. I also work with depression and anxiety, healthcare providers experiencing burnout, complex trauma, and parent and family support. I ground my practice in culturally and LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-ableist, and anti-racist presence.
If you or a family member are struggling, feel burned out, or sometimes feel too much or not enough, I am here to support you. I approach behavior as communication, always seeking to understand underlying needs.
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in lightness when possible. I integrate trauma-responsive techniques that weave an understanding of your nervous system responses and somatic (body) awareness while also drawing from attachment, cognitive, experiential, play, and solution-focused therapies.
I would be honored to learn how I can best support you. I work to create a space where your whole self; mind, body, emotions, stage of life, neurobiology, and relationships is welcomed and honored. Together, we will move forward with care, intention, and mutual respect.
In my free time, I love being outside gardening and recreating. I am also a fan of reading, bad rom-coms, and deep diving into my special interest of the moment.
