Angharad Hollingworth, LMFT (she/her)

As a birth worker for over 10 years, Angharad Hollingworth (she/her), is deeply committed to the transition into parenthood (specifically motherhood). Her work is rooted in a systemic lens and understands the identity shifts that happens to all parents as right of passage and a development stage.

Angharad uses attachment theory, IFS, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to support her clients relearning who they are in this new phase of life. She deeply believes that becoming a mother does not mean you have to lose yourself, just relearn yourself.

Angharad's work supports undoing internalized narratives around what women and mothers should be doing and working with them to live how they want to be living. She is acutely aware of the times we live in and the importance of embracing ourselves so that we can live towards a more just world.

She not only offers individual therapy via telehealth and in her in person office in Tacoma, but she also holds therapy intensives for those wanting a deeper dive into themselves. She also hosts a monthly peer support group - Queerly Conceiving - in Tacoma.

When not being a clinician, Angharad can be found being cozy in her home with her partner, swimming in any body of water, and playing with clay.
