Erin Karcher, LMFT, she/they/he

Erin Karcher, MA, LMFT, is the Clinical Director and co-founder of Colorful Minds Psychotherapy Collective. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist working with relationships, families, and individuals. Their areas of focus include relationship issues, sexual and gender identities, neurodiversity/ADHD, and multicultural counseling. Erin works from an anti-oppression lens and draws from several evidence-based practices including narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), Gottman theory, and mindfulness. They co-collaborate with clients to find their best practices, and strives to help clients take advantage of their own inner wisdom.

Erin holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle; they also earned a B.A. from The Evergreen State College. She holds certificates in narrative therapy, and have been working with families in a professional capacity for over a decade. They also have training in cognitive behavioral therapy, internalized family systems, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and DBT. Prior to attending graduate school, Erin worked as a project manager for Audible for six years. She relishes working with folks from all walks of life, and invites clients to lean in, plant down, and grow up with them.
